Field-family interface enclosure

A dedicated Field-family interface enclosure for termination, protection, sensor power, isolation, signal conditioning, A/B fanout, test points, diagnostics, quick-connect harnesses and output-authority arbitration.

PrecisionDCMS IO is hardware, not a software connector runtime. It is the physical interface layer between plant wiring and the Field node — the enclosure where field signals are terminated, protected, powered, conditioned and fanned out so acquisition is clean, serviceable and safe.

Provides landed, labeled termination for field wiring with surge and fault protection ahead of the acquisition electronics.

Supplies regulated sensor power and performs isolation and signal conditioning so inputs arrive clean at the Field node.

  • IO is a physical interface enclosure; it is not a software integration or connector runtime.
  • Software integration with BMS, DCIM, CMMS, ITSM and cloud is handled by Site Connector, distributed collectors and Data Fabric integration services, not by IO.
  • IO conditions and arbitrates signals but does not itself hold the acquisition logic that lives in the Field node.
